Bobby Joe Minyen
September 19, 1930 ~ March 23, 2014


Bobby Joe Minyen, of Pauls Valley, passed away March 23, 2014 at his home near Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years.

Mr. Minyen was born September 19, 1930 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to William Fredrick Minyen and Lola Pearl [Bell] Minyen.

Bobby Joe Minyen and Georgia Hodge were married in Gainesville, Texas on December 24, 1954. He worked as a Plumber and had lived in Oklahoma City for about 35 years. Following his retirement, he returned to the Paoli and Pauls Valley area where he and his wife have made their home since 1992 and the Paoli First Baptist Church his church home.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers and four sisters.

Surviving family include his wife of 60 years, Georgia of the home; two children, Vicki Bailey and her husband Dale of Mustang; and Joe Minyen and his wife Pebbles of Davis; four grandchildren, Mandy and Jeff Mills of Wylie, Texas; Michelle and Chrrs Tobler of Mustang; Sarah and Jason Freehill of Sulphur; and Kevin Minyen and Heidi of Ardmore; six great-grandchildren, London, Lily, Scarlett, and Jaxon, Emma and Braxxton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Paoli First Baptist Church officiated by Pastor John Allen. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
