Alfred Allen McQueary
June 30, 1921 ~ November 21, 2006


Alfred Allen McQueary, 85, born on June 30, 1921 in Jasonville, passed away at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. McQueary had been sick for the past three months and was receiving care at the Ballard Nursing Center, Ada, Okla.

He was a US Navy WWII Veteran serving in 1943 at Pearl Harbor and Okinawa in 1944.

He was previously employed by the VA Hospital and Marion General Hospital before moving to Oklahoma City.

Alfred attended the Olivet Ministerial College and after completing ministerial school in the 1940's, served as a minister in the Church of the Nazarene.

Alfred is survived by his ex-wife, Tressa Miller, Marion; son, Donald Alfred McQueary, Marion; three daughters, Mary Alfretta Werner, Brandon, Fla., Alta Faye Clark, Indianapolis, Betty Joan Teagle, Marion. He leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son who was born and died in 1951; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. He will be missed by family and friends.

Arrangements were handled by Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home, 500 North William St., Paul's Valley, Oklahoma. Local arrangements by Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue, Marion, IN.

Lillian F. [Franklin] McQueary
June 6, 1915 ~ November 13, 2012


Lillian F. McQueary, of Paoli, was born June 6, 1915 in Iola, Texas to Walter Lee and Roberta [McDuffie] Franklin.

She passed away November 13, 2012 in Pauls Valley at the age of 97 years.

She was raised in the area around Garvin and Maysville and has made Pauls Valley her home most of her life. Lillian had owned and operated her own Restaurant in the Alex and later worked for Tom's Café in Pauls Valley. After she began working for Wacker's she earned the position of an Assistant Manager. After retiring she worked in homes around the area, but her most precious job was that of Grandmother.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Roberta Franklin; her husband, Alfred McQueary; and her son, Joe Lee Wigley; as well as 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Surviving family include her son, Jim D. Wright & his wife, Barbara, of Pauls Valley; her daughter-in-law, Wanda Wigley of Paoli; 8 grandchildren as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Paoli Cemetery officiated by Roy Shave. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. We invite you to send a message of condolence and view the family's guestbook at the top of this page.
