Wanda [Michael] Williamson Kidd
June 6, 1923 ~ March 9, 2015
Wanda Williamson Kidd, of Pauls Valley, was born at Paoli on June 6, 1923 to parents, Leonard and Roxie [Craddock] Michael and passed from this life March 9, 2015 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years. She had lived in this area her entire life.
Wanda and Reese Williamson were married for 34 year until his death in 1985. To this union was born a daughter and son, Peggy and John.
Wanda was employed by the Credit Bureau of Pauls Valley for 17 years, owned and operated Wanda's Ceramic and Gifts for 2 years and retired from Mental Health Services of Southern Oklahoma after 9 years.
She was a long time member of the Paoli United Pentecostal Church.
In 1990 Wanda and Kenneth Kidd were united in marriage. He passed away on their 18th wedding anniversary.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Reese Williamson and Kenneth Kidd, daughter, Peggy Williamson, a step daughter Jeri Harlan; 4 brothers, Levoy, Ernest, Herbert and Ronald Michael and sister June Pigg. Wanda is survived by her son John Williamson and his wife Barbara and their children, Emily Williamson and Abby Williamson; one step son Matthew Kidd and his wife Dawn and their son, Matthew Kidd, Jr.; one brother Elden "Buck" Michael and his wife, Maureen; also a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in memory of Wanda to the Paoli United Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Paoli United Pentecostal Church officiated by Rev. Terry Erwin. Interment will be in the Paoli Cemetery under the direction of the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
