Bertha [Hudson] Jones
May 22, 1908 ~ August 26, 1980


Bertha Jones, 72, of Paoli, Okla., died Tuesday morning in the Baptist hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born in Brock, Texas and lived the last 48 years in Oklahoma. Her husband Arthur Jones preceded her in death in 1969.

Surviving her are five daughters, Mrs. Edith Johnson, Dallas,Texas, Mrs. Charlene Meador, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Ruth Kaimanont, Pilsbury, Okla., Martha and Ann Jones, Bethany, Okla., two sons, James Jones, Oklahoma City, and Tim Jones, Dansville, Ky.; six grand children and one-great-granchild; five sisters, Mrs. Exala Littlefield and Mr. Ruby Brathcher, Millsap, Texas, Mrs. Naomi Bullock, Cottage Grove, Ore., Mrs. Lillie Harwell, Weatherford, Texas; and two brothers, George Hudson and R. V. Hudson, Weatherford, Texas.

Funeral services were to be conducted 10am Thursday in Paoli, Okla. with burial in the Paoli Cemetery. Stuffle-Bean Funeral Chapel in Pauls Valley, Okla. was in charge of all arrangements.
