Sheldon Chase Hunt


Sheldon Chase Hunt, of Pauls Valley, was born September 3, 1990 in Ada, Oklahoma to Roger and Gina [Potts] Hunt.

Chase grew up in Pauls Valley; attended Pauls Valley Schools and is a 2009 Pauls Valley High School Graduate. He played football and baseball and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He has furthered his education by attending East Central University. He recently was accepted into the COPS program as well as in Lamda Alpha Epsilon (L.A.E.) chapter of the American Criminal Justice Association.

Pauls Valley has been his home all of his life and he had been attending Trinity Baptist Church in Pauls Valley.

He passed away November 5, 2011 in Paoli, Oklahoma at the age of 21 years.

Surviving family include his parents, Roger and Gina Hunt and one brother, Shelby Hunt; grandparents, Flora Potts and the late Frank Potts and Bob and Maxine Holmes, all of Pauls Valley Chase is also survived by a number of cousins, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Pauls Valley High School Auditorium, on North Street in Pauls Valley, officiated by Pastor Rocky Walker. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
