John Thomas Hadfield
January 29, 1980 ~ May 17, 2008


John Thomas Hadfield was born on January 29, 1980 in Riverton, Wyoming to Edward Gilbert and Lora Lynn [Morris] Hadfield and entered eternal life on Saturday, May 17, 2008 in Cleburne, Texas at the age of 28 years.

John grew up in California until 6th grade when he moved to Paoli, Oklahoma where he lived at the time of his death.

On August 28, 2004, John married May Marie Work in Pauls Valley. He attended East Central University for three semesters. He worked for Shaklee Pharmaceuticals for 2-3 years and then began a career with Union Pacific Railroad as a machine operator.

John enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to snow ski and to snowboard. John was a member of the Paoli Volunteer Fire Department. He took pleasure in cooking out on the grill and having folks over and entertaining.

The highlight of his life was the birth of his daughter, Jenna. He took joy in his relationships with family and friends. John was a very honest, candid person. If he liked you, he would do anything for you. If he did not like you, there was a reason, and you knew it.

Mr. Hadfield is survived by his wife: Marie Hadfield of the home; one daughter: Jenna Cate Hadfield of the home; mother: Lora Lynn Hadfield of Paoli, Oklahoma; one brother: Leon Edward "Ed" Hadfield of Paoli, Oklahoma; one sister: Lynn Marie Rohr and her husband, Kevin of Castle Rock, Colorado; and two nieces: Jessica Lynn Rohr and Kaitlyn Michelle Rohr.

Mr. Hadfield is preceded in death by his father, Edward Gilbert Hadfield.

Funeral services for John Thomas Hadfield are scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Rev. Larry Cornforth officiating.

Interment will be in the Paoli Cemetery in Paoli, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.

Leon Edward "Ed" Hadfield
January 15, 1975 ~ March 4, 2014


Ed Hadfield, of Paoli, passed away March 4, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 39 years.

Ed was born January 15, 1975 in Saugus, California to Edward Gilbert Hadfield, Jr and Lora Lynn [Morris] Hadfield.

Ed grew up in Wyoming. He loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing.

After moving to make Paoli his home in 1999 he joined the Paoli Fire Department as a Volunteer and later became Fire Chief; he has also worked for a time at the CVR Refinery in Wynnewood as an Equipment Specialist.

He was married to April [McKiddie] Hadfield in Garvin County, Oklahoma on November 14, 2008. Ed was a member of The Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward G. Hadfield, Jr. and one younger brother, John Thomas Hadfield in 2008.

Surviving family include his wife, April Hadfield of the home; mother, Lora Hadfield of Paoli; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randy and Joyce McKiddie of Choctaw; one sister, Lynn Rohr and her husband, Kevin and nieces, Jessica and Kaitlyn Rohr, of Castle Rock, Colorado; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chad and Cory Heston and nephew, Cooper Heston of Oklahoma City; sister-in-law, Marie Hadfield and niece, Jenna Hadfield, of Norman; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Terry Erwin. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
