Javier Ponce Gonzalez
October 12, 1933 ~ November 1, 2014


Javier Ponce Gonzalez, of Pauls Valley, passed away November 1, 2014 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

Javier was born October 12, 1933 in Guachinango, Mexico to Gregorio and Teresa [Ponce] Gonzalez.

He was raised in Mexico and has made Pauls Valley his home since 1998. He worked as a Farmer and was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 daughter, Maria H. Gonzalez; 1 grandson, Noel Sanchez Gonzalez; 1 brother, Alonso Gonzalez; and 1 sister, Concepcion Langarica.

Surviving family include: his wife, Emerita, of the home; 12 children, Abel Gonzalez, Ricardo Gonzalez, Ernesto Gonzalez, Miguel Gonzalez, Julia Gonzalez, Juana Gonzalez, Guillermina Gonzalez, Genoveva Gonzalez, Maria C. Gonzalez, Marie DeJesus Gonzalez, Socorro Gonzalez, and Gregorio Gonzalez; 30 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Elva Gonzalez, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Fr. Jim Chamberlain.

Interment will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Paoli Cemetery with Deacon John Warren, officiating. Professional services and interment are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
