Evelyn [Williamson] Frakes
June 30th, 1923 - June 19th, 2010


Evelyn Frakes of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Charley and Effie [Long] Williamson on June 30, 1923 in Cooper, Oklahoma and passed from this life on June 19, 2010 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years.

Evelyn grew up and attended school in Borger, Texas. On March 5, 1948 Evelyn married O. L. Frakes in Borger, Texas.

She made her home in Borger until 1982 when she moved to Pauls Valley. She worked as a waitress for many years. Mrs. Frakes was a lifetime member of the Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling.

Mrs. Frakes is survived by: 1 son: Charles Frakes and wife Susan of Rockville, Virginia; Daughter: Syndey Brobst and her husband Floyd of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren: Deanya Driskill, of Pauls Valley, Colby Waters and his wife Erin of Candian, Texas, Rachel Frakes, Jerrod Frakes and Sara Frakes of Virigina; 5 great-grandchildren: Patrick Driskill and Erica Driskill, of Pauls Valley, Hannah, Emma and Henry Waters of Candian, Texas.

Mrs. Frakes was preceded in death by: Her husband: O. L. Frakes Her parents: Charley and Effie Long; 1 brother: Curtis Williamson; 4 sisters: Mary LaRue, Lois Guyll, Madeline Williamson and Vera Caskey.
