Joyce has lived in Paoli since July 4, 1970 and was a faithful member of Paoli First Baptist Church. She was a great supporter of the Paoli Pugs and she enjoyed working in her yard and loved her dog Tippy; above all, Joyce was devoted to her family.

Surviving family include three daughters, Helen Moore of Okarche; Beth Tayner and her husband, Bobby; Shelie Fisher, all of Moore; three sons, Rusty Fisher and his wife, Karla, of Comanche; Donald Fisher and his wife, Doretha, of Maysville; and Wayne Fisher and his wife, Lori, of Paoli; three sisters, Ann Thompson, Jackie Dutra, and Patsy Buzzard; one brother, Ted Davis; she was also blessed with 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mayburn "Abe" Fisher; a daughter, Marilyn Caver; 2 sisters, Wanda Lambert and Claudine Elledge; one brother, Bill Davis; two stepbrothers, Olgletha Davis and Kenneth Davis and one step sister.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to the Pauls Valley Care Center, Dr. Steve Moore and Valley Hospice for the great care and compassion our mother and family received while in their care; as well as to Dr. Bryan Dye, whom she considered more than her doctor.

A special time of visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Otherwise, usual times for visitation will be 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday and Tuesday.
