Rose Marie "Ree" Horn Craddock
May 27, 1944 ~ July 11, 2015


Rose Marie [Horn] Craddock, 71, of Pauls Valley, OK was born in Lawton, OK on May 27, 1944 and went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2015.

Rose Marie, or "Ree" as she was affectionately known, was a kind and loving mother, sister, and friend.

Ree was passionate about fulfilling the call of God on her life and hosted a weekly Bible study and church services in her home. She also taught the adult Sunday School at Christian Life Church for many years. She counted it as a blessing to be able to pray for others and invested her life in encouraging those around her. She was a good listener and lifted up all those whom she met. Ree was a relentless soul winner, who shared her faith in Jesus through her compassionate, unselfish, humble and joyful personality.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Ree was a member of the Remnant Church, and had completed several certifications for Bible training.

She valued education and held a Bachelor's of Science in Vocational Home Economics from Texas Tech University and a Master's of Education in Special Education from the University of Oklahoma. She and was a talented Home Economics teacher and taught for more than 25 years, with a majority of those years at the Pauls Valley Hilltop School. After she retired, she continued her career for Pauls Valley Schools as the Food Service Director for 13 years.

She loved to work in her yard and had beautiful flowers. Ree enjoyed Silver Sneakers and having coffee with her friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Anna Marie Horn, and sister, Catherine Burum.

She is survived by daughters Ladonna Lynn [Craddock] Cunningham of Pauls Valley; and Lisa [Craddock] Antonelli and her son-in-law Andy of Edmond, OK and; her grandsons Matthew, A.J., Craig and Lucas; and her former husband, Darrell Craddock of Pauls Valley. She is also survived by her sister Donna [Horn] Hall of Norman and brother Terry Horn and Terry Butler of Huntsville, AL and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at Higher Ground Church in Pauls Valley at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Interment will be in the Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to: Integris Hospice House, 3030 NW Expressway, Suite 1600, Oklahoma City, OK 73112 or Finding Grace Orphanage, 16167 NCR 3209, Pauls Valley, OK 73075.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, July 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
