Robert Earl Burton
January 13, 1955 ~ April 29, 2009


The funeral for Robert Earl Burton, 54, will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Enid. Rev Jack Garrison will officiate. Rev Don Sutton will officiate at the graveside service at 3 p.m. at the Paoli Town Cemetery in Paoli.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home in Enid.

Robert was born January 13, 1955 in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Robert Leslie and Mary Ruth Dunkin Burton and died at his home on April 29, 2009.

He married Carol Ann Carroll on November 15, 1975 at the Church of God in Pauls Valley.

He was a professional trucker for Clear Harbor for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Carol of the home; daughters, Flecia Burton and Loni Burton, both of Enid, Okla.; son, Ronald Burton of Enid; grandson, Hestyn Hernandez; mother, Ruth Burton of Pauls Valley; brothers, James Burton and Jerry Dale Burton; and sisters, Sheila Carnell and Jennifer Sutton, both of Pauls Valley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L Burton, and two brothers, Kelly Burton and Ronald Leslie Burton.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation - Cancer Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@suddenlinkmail.com.
