Lorena Belle "Rena" [Hart] Bingham
June 28, 1919 ~ December 24, 2012

Lorena Hart Davis Bingham died December 24, 2012. She was born June 28, 1919 near Maysville in the Story Community to R. E. and Mint [Vaut] hart. She was preceded in death by an older brother who died as a very young child, her second brothers Marchal Hart, sister Alice Hart Guion and her second husband, K. P. Bingham.

Rena is survived by her son, Thomas W. Davis and his wife, Linda, of Florida, a son, Donald C. Davis of Norman, Oklahoma, and a daughter, Mary Davis Wilson of Moore, Oklahoma, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In the very early 1950's Rena went to work as a medical secretary for the hospital in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and then for the Pauls Valley Medical Center. Rena was then ultimate professional and was high intelligent, using her secretarial skill to work diligently for the doctors and patients at the clinic. After 44 years of service she finally retired in her mid-seventies.

Until her health started to fail, Rena was an active member of the Paoli Methodist Church. Over the years she served as secretary, a communion steward, MYF sponsor, adult Sunday School Class leader and choir member. With K. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:30 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Kay Karen Kennedy. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
