December 12, 1953 ~ January 26, 2025


Ricky Connell "Jacky" Smith was born into this life on December 12, 1953 to Lovie Mae Smith & Louis Baker in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He went to be with the lord on Sunday, January 26, 2025 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 71.

He retired from Michelin [A.K.A Uniroyal] after 41 years of service.

He enjoyed spending his time fishing, cutting grass and watching sports, especially track and field. He also enjoyed spending time with family, friends, as well as watching [and even sometimes coaching] his children and grandchildren as they competed athletically high school and college.

Additionally, he was a man of God who became very close with the Lord in his later years in life.

Ricky "Jacky" Smith was preceeded by Lovie Mae Smith, Mother, Louis Baker, Father, Robert Smith, Brother, Nolan Smith, Brother, and Diane Washington, Sister.

Survived by Evan Smith, Son, LaToya Smith Compton, Daughter, Cookie Allen, Sister, Chris Smith, Brother, and many Grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5-7 PM at the DeArman Funeral Home Chapel in Wynnewood. Services will be Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 11AM in the DeArman Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Robert W. Smith, a resident of Wynnewood, OK, was born on February 26, 1960 in Kansas City, Kansas to Lovie Mae Wright and Willie Thompson, He passed away in Pauls Valley, OK on October 12, 2023 at the age of 63.

Robert grew up and graduated high school in Wynnewood.

He had worked for Dollar General and the City of Pauls Valley as well as other vocations in his life.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters - Dora Mae Thompson and Joyce Ann Rushing, and a brother - Noel Nolan Smith.

Robert is survived by his son - Robert Smith, Jr and wife Breanna of Purcell, OK; 3 Sisters - Diane Washington, Viola Regina Queen Smith Parker, and Lucy Allen, 2 brothers - Jackie Smith and Chris Smith and wife Deidra.

Visitation will be held on Monday October 16, 2023 from 4 to 7 PM at DeArman Funeral Home in Wynnewood. Services will be held on Tuesday October 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Wynnewood with interment services following at Oak Grove Cemetery north and east of Wynnewood.

Services are under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood.
