Oklahoma City, Oklahoma May 2007 December 12, 1938 ~ May 13, 2007 Barbara L. Pendleton was born on December 12, 1938 to Albert and Viola Curry in Wynnewood, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald L. Pendleton, Sr. Barbara graduated from Wynnewood High School in Wynnewood, OK. She also attended Oklahoma City Community College. She accepted Christ at a young age and united with the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, OK where she remained a faithful member until her death. Barbara met and married Donald L. Pendleton, Sr. She was employed by the Oklahoma City Public Schools as an assistant elementary school teacher for over 22 years. She leaves to cherish her memory seven children: Julia [Kenny] Diggs of Waynesboro, Virginia, Danny Jo [Mattie] Carter of Oklahoma City, OK, Donald L. Pendleton, Jr. of Virginia, Albert [Vickey] Pendleton of Pampa, Texas, Adugjuanna Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK; Delbert E. McNeil, Ir. of Wynnewood, OK and LaVounda [Juan] Isaguirre of Oklahoma City, OK; three sisters: Alice Baker of Wynnewood, OK, Gladys [Jimmy] Cheadle of Killeen, Texas, and Marva [Bobby] Kibe of Wynnewood, OK; one brother, Robert [Kathleen] Curry of Kirkwood, MO; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and dear friends. |
