© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Oklahoma City, Oklahoma January 2008 Alice [Curry] Baker August 15, 1924 ~ January 26, 2008 Alice Curry Baker was a loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. Alice was born on August 15, 1924 to Albert and Viola Curry in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. She attended Lincoln High School in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Alice was better known to her family and friends as "Platt." She was very independent and had a very strong work ethic and instilled the same values in her children. She enjoyed over 50 years of employment and retired at the age of 73. She accepted Christ and was baptized at Mount Olive Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her death. Preceding her in death were her parents, one son, Louis Albert Baker, one daughter, LaMonica Baker, and one sister, Barbara Pendleton. Living with cherished memories are: one brother, Robert [Kathleen] Curry, Kirkwood, Missouri; two sisters, Gladys [Jimmy] Cheadle, Killeen, Texas; Marva [Bobby] Kibe, Wynnewood, Oklhoma; two daughters, Willistean [Robert] Hayes and Delores Hankins; three sons, Harold Williams, Jr and Larry Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Jerry [Rita] Williams, Las Vegas, Nevada; seventeen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter; and a plenitube of nieces, nephews, family and friends. |
