Glennon Don "Wick" Wickware
December 6, 1924 ~ February 1, 2015


Glennon Don "Wick" Wickware, of Pauls Valley, passed away February 1, 2015 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years.

"Wick was born December 6, 1924 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to William H. and Zora [Odell] Wickware.

He met Eva Robbins Bowman in Wadesboro, North Carolina while he was serving with the 513th Parachute Infantry of the 17th Division while stationed at Camp McCall, N.C. They returned to Pauls Valley and were married February 17, 1946 in the First Presbyterian Church parsonage.

Wick was a Painter by profession and he painted until he was 83 years of age.

His hobbies included bowling, reading, watching sports and gardening.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life of 67 years, Eva, on March 1, 2013; they have now been reunited in death. He is also preceded by his parents, William H. and Zora Odell Wickware; a sister, Gerew "Chig" Goggans and a brother, Amos Wickware; as well as a niece, Sheila Murray.

Surviving family include his nephew and his wife, Carey and Sandy Goggans of Pauls Valley; a niece and her husband, Gina and Frank Jozwiak of Fort Worth, Texas; Joe Murray of Pauls Valley; great nieces, Hillary and Peter Farrell of Oklahoma City; Mariah Murray Johnson and Chris of Lexington, Kentucky; and Skylar Goggans and fiancé, Trevor Thomasson; and Hannah Jozwiak; and great nephew, Chase Goggans; one great-great niece, Rowan Sheila Farrell.

Also surviving is, nephew and his wife, David and Rose Wickware and their daughters, Sherry, Gina and Crissy, of El Centro, California; as well as some very special ladies he loved dearly, Lovie Washington, Jackie Anderson, and Josie Washington; as well as all the caring staff at The Willows Assisted Living Center.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Rev. Mark Watson.

Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
