Jerry Ray Lehman


Jerry Ray Lehman, of Pauls Valley, passed away June 26, 2015 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years.

Jerry was born July 28, 1940 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Frank and Lucille [Haas] Lehman.

He and Norma Jean [Bartlett] Lehman were married in Konawa, Oklahoma on December 19, 1959.

He began working for Claxton's Heat and Air and then Joe Johnson Sheet Metal. Still in his early years, he owned Lehman's Filling Station in Pauls Valley and later went to work for Ballard's Drive-In in Pauls Valley where he worked until his retirement after 25 years.

Jerry was a member of the Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lucille Lehman; his wife, Norman Jean [Bartlett] Lehman in 2007; a sister, Virginia Bridges and a brother, Joe Lehman.

Surviving family include five children, Lucy Satterlee; Annie Sherrill and her husband, Billy; and Brenda Sherrill and her husband, Jimmy, all of Pauls Valley; Dixie Williams and her husband, Danny, of Elmore City; and John Oliver, also, of Pauls Valley; one brother, Leo Lehman and his wife, Jane, of Sherman, Texas; a sister-in-law, Rose Bartlett, of Fountain, Colorado; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and one on the way, a host of nieces and nephews; one aunt, Anna Mae Lehman; and numerous cousins.
