Joe Lee Kinslow
October 07, 1937 ~ August 15, 2019

Joe Lee Kinslow, of Shawnee, passed away August 15, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years.

He was born October 7, 1937 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Lucile (Tomlinson) Kinslow and Glenn A. Kinslow.

Along with Joe being an investor he spent time in South America flying back and forth into the Amazon jungle in Bolivia carrying supplies and food for oil crews. Upon returning to the United State he started a health and wellness insurance company. He was always making the next big move such as running a motel in Clinton, OK. One thing certain he was never one to sit around and wait for opportunities to show up; he was the one always looking for the next big opportunity.

He is remembered by his family for his drive, grit and fun times around the card table. At one point in his life he ran for Mayor of Pauls Valley, but was, unfortunately, beat out by his competitor.

Joe Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn A. and Lucile Kinslow; one sister, Glenna DuBois; two brothers, Michael Kinslow and James Kinslow.

His surviving family include his two children, Joe Stanley Kinslow, and Deborah Kay Kinslow, of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Christy Bolster and Joseph Kyle Kinslow, four great grandchildren, Dallas Bolster, Jameson Bolster, Brian Kinslow and Jacob Kinslow, two nephews, Drew Kinslow and Marcus Ramsey.

The family will conduct a memorial service for Joe Lee Kinslow on Monday, October 7th, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. and the graveside at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley.

Services for cremation were entrusted to Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
