Angela [Cervantes] Garcia
July 15, 1964 ~ March 6, 2014


Angela Cervantes Garcia, of Pauls Valley, passed away March 6, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years.

Angela was born July 15, 1964 in Waxahachie, Texas to Demetrio Cervantes and Esperanza [Salazar] Cervantes. She grew up in Waxahachie, Texas and has made Pauls Valley her home since 1994.

She was married to Anselmo Martinez Garcia in Gainesville, Texas on February 15, 1998. She worked as a Manager for many years at Sav-A-Lot and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Demetrio and Esperanza [Salazar] Cervantes.

Surviving family include her husband, Anselmo of the home; 5 children, Ryan Hernandez and his wife, Sara; Holly and her husband, Erik; Cristina Vega and her husband, Josh; Oscar Vega, who is currently serving in the U. S. Army and is stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, and Anselmo Garcia, Jr., all of Pauls Valley; 8 grandchildren, Averi, Christian, Nathan, Abbie, Alyia, Alice, Xzavier, Greysyn, and was expecting her 9th grandchild soon; 3 brothers, Albert Cervantes of Davis; Daniel Cervantes of Garland, Texas; and Juan Cervantes of Mesquite, Texas; 1 sister, Rebecca Dominguez of Garland, Texas; 3 aunts, Celia Gonzalez, Anita Chaney and Maria Rosa, all of Texas; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:30 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Angel Quinonez. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
