Delois [Dingler] Crouch
February 16, 1930 ~ June 18, 2012


Delois Crouch, of Pauls Valley, was born February 16, 1930 in Maud, Oklahoma to E. D. "Dutch" and Ola Oliva [Cherry] Dingler.

She passed away June 18, 2012 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years.

The Pauls Valley and Lindsay area has been her home since 1947. Delois is a graduate of Pauls Valley High School. She married the love of her life, Hudson Crouch, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on December 11, 1947. Delois was a member of First Baptist Church of Pauls Valley and worked many years in the nursery. Delois and Hudson along with Ola and Dutch Dingler ran the Western Café. She was also a Bookkeeper and worked for the Jacobson Ready Mixed Concrete in Pauls Valley for 41 years retiring in 2010. For many years Delois and Hudson were active in the Pauls Valley Round-Up Club and she was the 1957 Pauls Valley Rodeo Queen. Delois was also a 36 year member of the Pauls Valley Chapter 185 Order of the Eastern Star being initiated on March 20, 1976. Delois served in all the office of the Chapter and was Worthy Matron four times and had just been appointed Treasurer. She was also treasurer for the Rural Water District 1. Delois loved all animals especially her dog 'Sugar'.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hudson Crouch; daughter, Tonja Roberson; Brother, Jerry Dingler and his wife, Linda Dingler.

Surviving family include her nephew and niece, Robert and Stacee Dingler and their daughter, a great niece, Mollee Dingler; niece, Shelly Dingler; the children of Fern and Bill Wyatt, a special sister, David Wyatt and his wife, Kathy; close friends, Carol Reed, Jimmie Ott, Susan Skipper, and Rebecca Burrus, as well as numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Dr. Joe Elam. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
