Petra Saldaña Charqueño
August 6, 1921 ~ November 7, 2015


Petra Saldaña Charqueño, of Pauls Valley, passed away November 7, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years.

Petra was born August 6, 1921 in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico to Angel Saldaña and Ismaela Rodriguez. She grew up in Mexico and came to made America her home in 1983. Pauls Valley has been her home for the past 30 years and was a member of the Catholic Church.

She was married to Juvencio Charqueño, who has preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents, Angel Saldaña and Ismaela Rodriguez; her husband and five children.

Survived by her children, Alfredo Charqueño, Florensio Charqueño, Margarito Charqueño, Bartolo Charqueño, Maria Martinez, and Carmen Lara; 76 grandchildren, 189 great grandchildren, and roughly 32 great-great grandchildren; four brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Stuffebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
