Wayne Harold Campbell
April 26, 1927 ~ March 26, 2011


Wayne Harold Campbell, 83, died March 26, 2011 from leukemia. Wayne was born April 26, 1927 in the Oak Hill Community just outside Ryan, Okla., to Isam Edmond and Vina Virginia Tudor Campbell.

He married Anna May Rose on October 21, 1947.

In May of 1955, Wayne moved his family to Pauls Valley, where he lived for 53 years, working as Ranch Supervisor for three generations of the Thompson Family, as well as maintaining his own ranch.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: William, Holly and Graham; one sister, Verna McNeely; two brothers-in-law, Alfred Stanley and James McNeely; and one sister-in-law, Ledgia Campbell.

Surviving are Wayne's wife of 63 years, Anna of Pauls Valley; one son and daughter-in-law, David Allen and Becky Godfrey Campbell of Mesquite, Texas; one daughter, Anita Jean Blevins of Pauls Valley; seven grandchildren: Daniel Blaine Butcher of Pauls Valley, Jennifer Jill Butcher of Pauls Valley, Marc Alan Butcher of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Matthew Todd Butcher and wife Misty Ardmore, Okla., Rebecca Lorrielle Smith and husband Jon of Houston, Mississippi, Ruth-Anna Michelle Campbell of Arlington, Texas, and Deborah Gabrielle Guerrero and husband Sergio of Garland, Texas; seven great-grandchildren: Isaiah Andrew Butcher, Kaylee Madison Butcher, Stephen Jonathan Smith Jr., Hanna Marie Smith, Sergio Alexander Guerrero, Cesaria Gabriela Guerrero, and Richard Allan Williams III; one brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Pearl Campbell of Marietta, Okla.; one sister, Ruby Stanley of Ardmore, Okla.; three sisters-in-law: Arlene and Onema Campbell, Marietta, Okla., and Lois Rose of Exeter, Missouri; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Wayne served as an elder of the Pauls Valley Church of Christ for 38 years.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Pauls Valley Church of Christ officiated by Roy Shave and John Curtis. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Wayne Harold Campbell
February 12, 1931 ~ July 9, 2012


Anna Mae (Rose) Campbell, 81, departed this life for her heavenly home on July 9, 2012. Anna was born to Claudius Timothy Rose and Pearl [Dent] Rose on February 12, 1931 in Washburn, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her four brothers, Loren, Leroy, Donald Ray, and Billy Ray Rose; and an aunt, Ledgia Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Harold Campbell on March 26, 2011 after 63 years of marriage. Wayne served the Pauls Valley Church of Christ as an elder for 39 years with Anna faithfully at his side.

Anna is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David Allen and Rebecca Ilene (Godfrey) Campbell of Mesquite, Texas, and a daughter, Anita Campbell Blevins of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

Anna had seven grandchildren, including Rebecca Lorrielle (Campbell) and husband, Stephen Jonathan Smith of Dallas, Texas; Daniel Blaine Butcher of Pauls Valley; Jennifer Jill Butcher of Pauls Valley; Ruth-Anna Michelle (Campbell) and husband Richard Alan Williams, Jr. of Mesquite, Texas; Marc Alan Butcher and Sabreena Nevin of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Matthew Todd Butcher and wife, Misty Butcher of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and Deborah Gabrielle (Campbell) and husband, Sergio Guerrero of Dallas, Texas.

Anna also had six great-grandchildren, Stephen Jonathan Smith, Jr.; Isaiah Andrew Butcher; Cesaria Gabriela Guerrero; Hannah Marie Smith; Richard Alan Williams III; and KayLee Madison Butcher.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Pauls Valley Church of Christ officiated by Roy Shave. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Interment and professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
