Ova Elizabeth [Russell] Campbell
December 11, 1922 ~ March 18, 2012

Ova Elizabeth Campbell, of Pauls Valley, was born December 11, 1922 in Story, Oklahoma to John and Mary Cheek Russell. She passed away March 18, 2012 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years.

Ova was married to Adrian Franklin 'Ace' Campbell in Pauls Valley, Ok. on December 20, 1941. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 30, 1996. Ova had lived in Garvin County all of her life. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Ova loved her family more than anything, she and her daughter were very close. They use to love to go shopping with Kimberly and Jeff and eat at Picadilly all the time, which was their favorite place. She was so proud of her grandbabies, they were the best part of her life. She was so proud to be their grandma. Ova was always their biggest fan in any and every sport they played. She loved them with all of her heart. Her son in law Jack was not a son in law at all; she thought of him as her son. She knew he would do anything for her as she would for him.

Ova loved to cook and bake pies for friends all over Pauls Valley. She also loved to dance, especially the 2 step and waltz.

Ova was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Franklin "Ace" Campbell; 1 son, Adrian Dewayne Campbell; and Ova is the last of 8 children: 6 brothers, James Russell, Ollie Russell, Leroy Russell, Floyd Russell, Harmon Russell, and Bob Russell; as well as 1 sister, Maudie Kinard.

Surviving family include her daughter and her husband, Judy and Jack Ellis, of Pauls Valley; two grandchildren, Kimberly Hill and her husband, Jeffrey, of Mustang; and Jeffrey Ellis and his wife, Adrian, of Frisco, Texas; 7 great grandchildren, Grace Anne, Jackson, Carter, Ryland, Cameron, Campbell and Shelby.

Special thanks to the Pauls Valley Care Center as well as Jim Standridge and Patty Embree who went over and above excellent care for Mrs. Campbell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Marion Oden. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
