Ray Keith Brinley
March 25, 1921 ~ November 27 2010


Ray Keith Brinley was born March 25th, 1921 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. His father was Ray Brinley, his mother was Marie Brinley-Tipton-Bowman.

He is survived by his wife Ellen whom he married in 1992, his daughter, Cheryl Kennedy and his son, Steve Brinley.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ray Keith Brinley Jr who passed away November 27th 2010. Also surviving are Ray Keith's four grandchildren, Kristian Kennedy Brandstetter, Melissa Brinley Boston, Morgan Brinley Melnikofff, Meg Brinley, and Scott Brinley. He also had six great grand children, Peyton Brandstetter, Kennedy Brandstetter, Blake Melnikoff, Wyatt Melnikoff, Reese Melnikoff and Ryder Boston.

Ray Keith started the Garvin County Savings and Loan in the 50's and also the Garvin County Abstract Company with his former wife Lucille Brinley, who also preceded him in death.

Later in life, he followed his passion of farming to create the Bar B Ranch where he raised cattle.

He played golf and became quite good scoring several holes-in-one at the Pauls Valley Golf Course. He also was very good at dominos and loved to go to the Senior Center with his wife to see all his friends and have lunch with them.

He will be missed.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Pavilion. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
