February 2, 1953 ~ February 17, 2015


Gary Glen Edgar, of Pauls Valley, passed away February 17, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years.

Gary was born February 2, 1953 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Marvin J. and Ruth [Hudson] Edgar.

He worked many years at Edwards Canvas and later he worked for seven years at Kentucky Fried Chicken until his retirement. He loved the outdoors with the sport of Cat fishing as his favorite and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Gina and son, Kurtis Edgar in 1990; and a nephew, Tyler Nathaniel Teal in 2009.

Surviving family include his daughters, Katie Callen of McLeod; and Karrie Roberts and her husband, Matthew, of Pauls Valley; his parents, Marvin J. and Ruth Edgar of Pauls Valley; two sisters, Pamela Brown of Pauls Valley; and Paula Woods of Davis; two brothers, Marvin Edgar and his wife, Laura, of Pauls Valley; and Mickey Edgar of Alabama; four grandchildren, Lance Roberts, Conner Roberts, Jocelyn Keeling and Taylor Keeling; four nephews, Hunter Edgar, Kevin Edgar, Jay Edgar, and Bradley Woods; four nieces, Christi Euell, Brandi Barnett, Jennifer Jones and Amber Sanchez.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 10:30 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Marion Oden.

Interment will be at McGee Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home
