Kendall Eugene Hickman
Birth: May 13, 1961
Death: March 17, 2014

Kendall Eugene Hickman of Ardmore was born May 13, 1961, in Ardmore, to William Kendall and Wanda [Bynum] Hickman Sr. He passed away March 17, 2014, in Duncan, at the age of 52 years, 10 months and 4 days.

He served our country for 15 years in the U.S. Navy.

He was a licensed electrician. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cookouts with friends (outcooking his buddies at his cookouts), telling the bigger fish stories and camping out at the lake. Outdoors was his place to always be.

He was Chickasaw and Choctaw and very proud of his native heritage.

He so looked forward to the races starting at the tracks to help his buddies get going with the new season. He will be missed.

He is survived by three sons, Joey Hickman and Chris and Roger Lafferty; two daughters, Amanda Hickman and Miranda Lee; three brothers, Wendall Hickman and wife, Stephanie, Billy Hickman and wife, Sandi, and Shayne Hickman; two sisters, Tammie Spears and husband, Bernie, and Leeann Hickman; four grandchildren, Baily, Penny, Maddox and Ryleigh; and father William Kendall Hickman Sr.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Keel Cemetery, west of Stratford, with the Rev. Keith Stevens officiating.

Pallbearers are Dustin Davis, Glen Payne Jr., Joey Hickman, Christopher Lafferty, Roger Lafferty and Billy Hickman.

Honorary pallbearers are Glenn Payne Sr., Trey Payne, Virgil Page and John Webb.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Pickard Funeral Home in Stratford.
