Refard Oris Stuart
February 17, 1927 ~ October 21, 2013


Refard O. Stuart of The Village, Hot Springs, Arkansas was born to Emmett and Mary [Willis] Stuart on February 17, 1927 in Tokio, Arkansas and passed from this life on October 21, 2013 in Hot Springs, Arkansas at the age of 86 years.

Refard grew up and attended school in Nashville, Arkansas.

He served his country in the U.S. Army.

On October 4, 1952, Refard married Louise Cottrell in Nashville, Arkansas and together they made their home in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Refard worked for Bell Helicopter as an aircraft mechanic. He retired in February of 1991.

On January 1, 2002, Refard and Louise moved to The Village, Hot Springs, Arkansas. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved gardening.

Mr. Stuart is survived by: Wife: Louise Stuart of the home, Sister: Ruth Wilson of Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

Mr. Stuart was preceded in death by: His parents: Emmett and Mary Stuart, Brother: Curtis Edward Stuart, Sisters: Ruby Turbeville and Corine Cooper.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Katie Cemetery in Katie, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.

Willie Louise [Cottrell] Stuart
April 13, 1931 ~ August 27, 2020


Willie Louise C. Stuart of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Elzie and Willie [McGee] Cottrell April 13, 1931 in Katie, Oklahoma and passed from this life on August 27, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years.

Louise grew up and attended school at Katie, Oklahoma. She graduated from Wynnewood High School and went to business college in Dallas.

She worked in the procurement office for Lockheed Martin.

She was a great big sister to all of her siblings.

Louise loved going to Branson with her sister and mother.

In her spare time, she enjoyed music and needlework.

Mrs. Stuart is survived by:, Brother: Bobby Cottrell and wife Sue, Sister Betty Hoepner and husband Richard, Nieces and nephews and their children: Rick Hoepner and wife Zee, Samantha, Richard and Joshua, Sandy Grim and husband Brian, Chase, Kelsey, Austin, and Justin and wife Alex, Stacey McCaa and husband Jeff, Seth and Taryn.

Mrs. Stuart was preceded in death by: Her parents: Elzie and Willie Cottrell, Brother: Jimmy Cottrell.

Graveside services are scheduled at the Katie Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
