Darladell "Dolly" [Moore] Lowe
January 10, 1922 ~ August 17, 2021


Darladell Lowe of Katie, Oklahoma was born to Sanders Gibb and Alma Boneice [Vanderburg] Moore on January 10, 1922 in Katie, Oklahoma and passed from this life on August 17, 2021 in Davis, Oklahoma at the age of 99 years.

Daraladell grew up and attended school in Katie. She lived with her Grandma Moore and Aunt Rosa who was a teacher during the school year because of the distance of her home from school.

Many days were spent working at her father's store in Katie and on the farm, tending to crops and livestock.

Darladell learned to have a love of music at an early age, playing the piano by ear. She later gave piano lesson to many students. She played piano at church from age 15 until age 88.

On June 19, 1937, Darladell married Wallace Doyle "Spooky" Lowe on June 19, 1937. Together they made their home in Katie and raised their family there.

Mrs. Lowe is survived by: Daughters: Novella Parkey and husband Jackie of Lone Grove, Oklahoma, Sharon Bisel of Davis, Oklahoma, Grandchildren: Jacqueline Trent and husband Greg; Paula Jennings and Donnie Parkey, Carolyn Rogers and husband Mike and Steven Pyle and wife Brenda, Great-grandchildren: Olivia; Scott; Austin, Jerico, Kendal; Whitley; Brady; Shelby; and Ethan, Great-great-grandchildren: Rowyn, Indy, Ian, and Gavin. A host of family and friends.

Mrs. Lowe was preceded in death by: Husband: Wallace "Spooky" Lowe, Parents: Sanders and Alma Moore.
