David Leon Lindsey
November 15, 1929 ~ March 28, 2015


David Leon Lindsey, a resident of Wynnewood OK, was born on November 15, 1929, to Pearlie Mae [Caldwell] and George Clifford Lindsey. He passed away on March 28, 2015, in Oklahoma City OK at the age of 85.

Mr. Lindsey grew up in Wynnewood before going to the U.S. Army where he served in the Korean War.

He married Patsy Lavern [McGee] on January 5, 1952 in Gainesville TX.

Mr. Lindsey's work took them many places. He ended his working career as Vice President of Pipeline Operations for Enogex. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wynnewood.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Georgia Mae McCarty and Sylvia Kraft.

He is survived by his wife Patsy Lavern Lindsey of their home in Wynnewood; daughters Vickie Lynne McCray and husband David of Oklahoma City, and Brenda Lisa Cordeiro and husband Sam of Belleville TX; son David Leon Lindsey II and wife Cheryl of Wynnewood; sisters Billie June Oliver, Betty Boydston, Margaret Winchester, and Mary Colson; brothers Joe Lindsey, Alford Lindsey, and Jimmy Lindsey; grandchildren Bobbi Lynne Gabler, Becki Leigh Hendricks, and Catherine Anne Cordeiro; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Wynnewood United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from 5 to 7 p.m. at DeArman Funeral Home in Wynnewood.

Patsy Laverne McGee Lindsey
February 1, 1933 ~ December 31, 2020


Patsy Laverne McGee Lindsey, a former resident of Wynnewood, OK was born on February 1, 1933 to Girtrue [Smith] McGee and John Clifford McGee. She passed away on December 31, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 87.

Mrs. Lindsey lived in San Diego, CA for one year during the time of World War II. The rest of her childhood was spent in Wynnewood, where she graduated high school in 1951.

She married David Leon Lindsey January 5, 1952 in Gainesville, Texas.

Patsy was an avid collector of Madame Alexander dolls and depression glass. She liked to travel and enjoyed the search for dolls and glassware.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wynnewood.

She was preceded in death by her husband David Leon Lindsey, sister - Billie Talmadge, and brothers - Bruce Erman McGee, Lyscia Moore, and Delbert McGee. She is survived by daughter Vickie Lynn McCray and husband David of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter Brenda Lisa Cordeiro and husband Sam of Bellville, TX; son David Leon Lindsey and wife Cheryl of Wynnewood; 3 grandchildren - Bobbi Lynne Gabler, Becki Leigh Hendricks, and Catherine Anne Cordeiro.
