Elsie Faye [Riley] Dutton
May 24, 1932 ~ December 1, 2021

Elsie Faye [Riley] Dutton was born in Satterwhite, Oklahoma on May 24, 1932, to the proud parents of Isaac Edwin and Stella [Moore] Riley.

On December 1, 2021, eighty nine years later, Jesus took her home to Heaven, where she was gloriously reunited with her beloved husband of thirty years, Cleo Harding Dutton.

Elsie's life began in the Satterwhite and Elmore City area, however she grew up in Oklahoma City.

She told her family stories of coming to Oklahoma City at the age of three. She loved Oklahoma and Oklahoma City. However, her greatest love was for her family and friends.

She attended Lee Elementary School and Elmore City High School. At the age of sixteen, she married Billy Clay Dockray. She later worked for Southwestern Bell.

On July 1, 1969, she married her soulmate, Cleo Harding Dutton, in Paris, Texas. They spent 30 glorious years together. Together, they raised four children.

Elsie is survived by her son, Stephen Ray Dockray, her daughter Elaine Faye Dockray Shortley and her husband, Robert, her son Edwin Clay Dockray, and her daughter Elizabeth Susan Stella Dutton Morrow and her husband, John. She is also survived by her beautiful grandchildren, Megan Elise Morrow and Gage Matthew Cleo Morrow of Oklahoma City, Rebecca Faye Dockray Bishop of Broken Arrow, OK, Stephen Ray Dockray, Jr and his wife, Christine of Henryetta, OK, and four great grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her dear sister-in-law, Anna Lee Dutton Huff of Midlothian, Texas, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Elsie is preceded in death by her father, Isaac Edwin Riley, her mother, Stella Riley, her cherished husband, Cleo Harding Dutton, her daughter-in-law, Patti Dockray, and her daughter-in-law, Cecilia LaDonna Dockray.

Elsie was a treasure and a very loving, woman of God who will always be adored by her family and friends. She was absolutely beautiful with a beautiful heart to match. She was always an extraordinary wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed a long and wonderful life and we will always have so many wonderful memories of her. She had a special bond with her grandchildren, Megan and Gage. She loved being a "MaMaw" and celebrated every day with them. Elsie attended Special Olympics and school dances with Megan. She also attended sports events and Grandparent's Day at school with Gage. They brought her so much joy, Elsie was an inspiration and she was adored by everyone that met her. There just aren't enough words to describe her kind spirit.

She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church for 33 years. In her later years, she resided at Village on the Park Memory Care Center where she was treasured by the residents and staff. She truly had the Fruit of the Spirit in her heart. Elsie enjoyed reading her Bible, studying genealogy, cooking, gardening, dancing, country music, shopping, holidays, birthday parties and she absolutely loved vivid colors, especially pink.

Elsie will be deeply missed by her family and friends. We love her so much and we look forward to the day when we see her again in Heaven.

Elsie's family would like to especially thank the staff at Village on The Park Memory Care Center for their excellent and detailed care. She was truly happy there and enjoyed many activities.
