Wilkie Leenard Flowers
December 15, 1944 ~ July 24, 2016

Flowers, Wilkie Leenard, age 71, of Wynnewood Oklahoma, peacefully rested his life on July 24, 2016. Wilkie was born in Wynnewood on December 15, 1944, to the late Neal and Anna Flowers of Wynnewood OK. At an early age Wilkie gave his life to Christ.

He was united in marriage to the lovely Nevada Smith Flowers and a loving father to his surviving children Wilkie "Roho" Flowers Jr., Valarie Flowers, Vickie and her husband, Rev. Britt Montgomery, sister-in-law; that was raised like a daughter Corene ""CoCo" Smith. Dear brother to; Bobbie Rushing, Betty Flowers, Henry (Miami) Flowers and Eddie Mae Scott; loving grandfather of Monya Blanton and Brooklyn Flowers, a special Pa Pa to TaTa and loved by numerous nieces and nephews.

Many who knew Wilkie, know he was "quite a man". Every person is unique, but Wilkie upped the ante. For over a half a century he was the man to call for anything you needed built or repaired. He also worked for many years at the Wynnewood Pecan Company, Warren Farms, Halliburton and had a passion for food that fueled his love to become a business owner of two BBQ Restaurants, where he had worked side by side with his wife that were known for their smiles and daily specials. He was very generous (sometimes to a fault), Wilkie found the most joy from fishing, gardening, keeping a beautiful home (inside and out), listening to gospel quartet singing and watching movies. Wilkie will be sadly missed and by his family and friends and by every heart that she touched throughout his life.

Wilkie was preceded in death by his parents; Mr. Neal & Anna Flowers; wife; Nevada, two sons; Rickie and Scottie Blanton, brothers; Shedrick, Ben T., J.C. and T.C. Flowers.
