George Henry Cecil Jr

George Henry Cecil, Jr., of Choctaw, OK, was born December 12, 1950 in Lilliton, NC to George and Barbara [St. Pierre] Cecil and departed this life Saturday, April 28, 2007 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 56 years.

George owned a small carpentry business in Choctaw with his wife, Dale Ann. He was retired from TECOM at Tinker Air Force Base where he was a VIP driver. George had previously lived in Lindsay for 16 years. In Lindsay, he worked as a self-employed carpenter for several years. He also worked as an employee for the City of Lindsay and was a volunteer firefighter in Lindsay. Before moving to Lindsay, George was a member of the Plasterer's Union of California.

He was on the liver transplant waiting list at the time of his death.

George is survived by his wife, Dale Ann; one son, George H. Cecil III and wife Christine of Union City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Anissa Clingman and husband Royce of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Tisha Auld and husband Daryl of Lindsay, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Nikki Cecil, Cory Clingman, Calli Clingman, and Jacob Morgan; mother, Barbara Cecil of Idaho; three sisters, Karen Musgrove and husband Mike of Salinas, California, Paula Anderson and husband Terry of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Debbie Ann Fournier and husband Charlie of Idaho; two brothers, Larry Cecil and wife Carol of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, and Dennis Cecil of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; six nieces, Alicia Teal, Amy Musgrove, Elizabeth Musgrove, Cecily Cecil, Ashlea Cecil, and Rachel Cecil; three nephews, Mike Musgrove, Jr., Kyle Fournier, and Devin Cecil; seven great nieces and nephews, one step son, 5 step daughters, 13 step grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren, 3 step nephews, and 2 step nieces. George was preceded in death by his father, George H. Cecil, Sr. George loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, who lovingly referred to him as 'GrandDude.'

Funeral services for Mr. Cecil are scheduled for Friday, May 4, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. in the Foster Cemetery. Interment will be in Foster Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
