Linda Marie [Gandy] Allred
Jun 7, 1959 ~ Jun 8, 2019

Linda Allred, age 60 of Boynton, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa.

Linda Marie Gandy was born June 7, 1959 in Ukiah, California, the baby of 7 children born to Red and Joyce Gandy.

She spent her early years in Santa Rosa, and in 1967, the family moved back home to Oklahoma, settling near Foster.

Linda was the proud mother of three daughters, Lacrista, Joycelynn, and Lisa. She later married to her best friend and life partner, James Allred, and she welcomed son, James Jr. and two bonus daughters, Melinda and Diana. For the last 21 years, they have made their home in Boynton.

Linda worked most of her life as a cashier or in customer service, and most recently at Wal Mart.

Linda was a beautiful soul and was always laughing, and she possessed a unique ability to make those around her feel at home. She was a genuine people person. She never missed an opportunity to visit with someone, and she could stretch a quick shopping trip just catching up.

Linda cherished her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a true friend. She will be dearly missed! She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Joycelyn "Coco" Choate; her parents, Red and Joyce Gandy and two brothers, James and Daniel Gandy.

Linda is survived by: her husband, James Allred of the home; daughters, Lacrista Medina of Tulsa and Lisa Hart of Morris, OK; bonus children, Melinda Brown of Elmore City, OK, Diana Richardson of Henrietta, OK and James Allred Jr. of Morris; 3 sisters, Sharon Myers and husband Roy of Purcell, Debbie Neal of Shawnee and Kathy Wesbrook and husband Kenny of Arkansas City, KS; brother, Thomas Gandy and wife of Elmore City; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a host of other family and friends.
