Marline Williams Smith
1938 ~ 2017


Marline was born June 28, 1938 in Hennepin to the late Maze & Henrietta Williams. She died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 78 years 8 months and 9 days.

Marline was a lifelong resident of the Davis/Hennepin area. She attended school at Davis and Woodland, graduating in 1958. She was an avid seamstress, making clothes and other handmade items for family and friends. Marline loved spending time with her family. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, painting, cooking and fishing. Marlene was a member of the Church of the Living God.

Survivors include her loving sister, Gladys Jacobs of Hennepin; nieces, Faye Miles & Donella Wilcox; nephews, Curtis Williams, JR, Phillip Williams, Kevin Williams and Sherman Wilcox; great niece, Tevaner Bradford; as well as a host of great-great nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Marline was preceded in death by two sisters, Texaner Jacobs and Fannie Mae Wilcox; and one brother, Curtis Williams.
