Sherry Lynn [Bohanan] Wallace


ADA ~ Services for Sherry Lynn Wallace, 44, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Hazel Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Dixon Chapel Cemetery. A Wake Service will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wallace died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born September 27, 1968 at Sulphur, Oklahoma to Henry Ray and Claire Taylor Bohanan. She attended Paris, Texas schools.

She married Johnny Lee Wallace in 1987. He preceded her in death in 2004. Mrs. Wallace was a housekeeper in the hotel/motel industry and had also been employed at Valley View Regional Hospital in housekeeping. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She liked to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Felicia Wallace of Ada, Vanessa Bear and her husband Steve of Wetumka, and Sherie Guinn and husband Max of Ada; a son, Johnny Wallace, Jr. of Ada;her mother, Claire Taylor Bohanan; nine grandchildren, Marissa and Gary Trent, Jr, Kayley Bertis, Neveah Bear, Miakah Bear, Silah Bear, Silas Bear, Hayden Hall and Xavier Guinn; two brothers, Mark Bohanon of Ada and Glenn Bohanon and wife Krystal of Ada; a sister, Wendy Bohanan of Paris, TX; her nieces, Megan Bohanan, Logan Bohanan and Taylor Bohanan; and his nephews, Chris Spradlin and Cody Spradlin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Bohanan; three uncles, Willard Bohanan, Albert Wallace and Bradley Bohanan; a sister-in-law, Jennifer Bohanan; and her mother-in-law, Ethel Wallace.

Bearers will be Gary Trent, Max Guinn, Steve Bear, Chuy Huerta-Cairzal, Cebrane Wallace and Vincent Wallace.
