Bessie Belle [Hottel] White
September 1, 1907 ~ September 14, 1990


Funeral services for Bessie Belle White, 83, Sulphur, were Monday, September 17 at Vinita Avenue Church of Christ, Sulphur, with Ken Holton officiating. Interment was at Corley Cemetery with Clagg Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. White was born September 1, 1907 at Stratford and died September 14 at Oklahoma City. She was the daughter of the late Anna Belle and George Hottel.

She married Guy R. White, July 29, 1933 at Stratford. He preceded her in death June 3, 1977.

She was a member of Vinita Avenue church of Christ and had lived in Davis before moving to Sulphur in 1949 where she operated the sub-post office.

Survivors are two daughters, including Guylene Bailey of Sulphur; a son-in-law; six brothers; seven sisters; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
