William Joseph "Jack" Postoak
February 10, 1913 ~ July 30, 2006


Services for William Joseph "Jack" Postoak, 93, Stratford, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funereal Home Chapel, Hazel Wallace officiating. Burial follows at Corley Cemetery, south of Stratford, A wake service will be held today from 7-8 p.m. at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Postoak died July 30, 2006, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1913, at Stratford, to Jim and Mary Willis Postoak. He attended a Catholic school.

Mr. Postoak married Ruby Smith August 21, 1943. She died June 18, 1889, at Oklahoma City. Mr. Postoak was a construction laboror and a Catholic.

Survivors include ten children, Harvey Williams Postoak and wife Rosie, Allen, Mary Wise, Shawnee, Wanda Porter, Helen Jackson and husband Ray, all of Ada, Barbara Givens, Arlene Williams, Alice Postoak, Mamie Harjo, all of Oklahoma City; and Eugene Postoak, Laura Nickum, both of Stratford; 37 grandchildren; and 56 great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Eddie Postoak, Ronald Ahhaitty Jr. Johnson Porter, Donald Given Jr., Shawn Postoak, Jeremey Brady, Ronnie Lee Harjo Jr., Chilfford Williams Jr., and Benjamin Jackson. Honorary bearer is Bobbie Rex Postoak.
