Larry Gayle Mercer
August 26, 1946 ~ June 21, 2018


Larry G. Mercer,of Stratford, Oklahoma, was born August 26, 1946 in Oil Center, Oklahoma to Ishmel and Norene [Tinnin] Mercer. He passed away June 21, 2018 at Burford Manor Nursing Home Davis, Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years, 9 months, and 25 days.

He grew up and graduated from Stratford. After graduation he moved to the Edmond area and served our country in the United States Army Reserve. He moved back to Stratford several years ago. He was a member of the Stratford First Baptist Church.

Preceded by; his parents Ish and Norene Mercer.

Survived by; One daughter; Angela Mercer of Oklahoma City, Ok; two sons; Brian Mercer & wife Sarah of Edmond, OK; Rocky Mercer of Oklahhoma City, OK; one grandchild; Sophia Mercer; one sister Janice Ross of Stratford; four brothers Deverle Mercer of Dallas, Texas, Garman Mercer of Oklahoma City, Ok; Connie and Jerry Mercer both of Stratford.

Services; 1:00 PM Monday June 25, 2018 at DeArman/Pickard Chapel Stratford, Oklahoma. Officiating; Rev. Jerry Mercer; Burial Corley cemetery south of Stratford.
