Calvin Junior Hall
December 2, 1924 ~ August 18, 2011


Calvin J. Hall, of Stratford was born December 2, 1924 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Hugh and Lena [Albert] Hall. He passed away August 18, 2011 in Altus, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years 8 months and 16 days.

He was married to Laura L. [Tye] in Oklahoma City, OK. on August 30, 1946. They lived in Oklahoma City for many years and moved to Stratford in 1980.

He worked as a truck driver, and he served our country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife Laura, and 1 daughter Linda Jones.

Survived by 5 sons, Jimmy Hall, Fort Riley, Kansas; Roger Dale Hall, Choctaw, OK.; Robert Gale Hall, Hobart, OK.; Ronald Dean Hall, Del City, OK.; Donald Gene Hall, Sulphur, OK.; 1 daughter, Barbara June King, Lone Wolf, OK.; 3 brothers, Clifford Hall, Memphis, TN.; Jim Hall, Falls City, Neb.; Richard Hall, Rock Springs, WY.; 3 sisters, Nada Hall, Norman, OK.; Helen Hall, Norman, OK.; Juanita Williams, Long Beach, CA.; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers; Grandsons.

Services will be held Saturday August 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Pickard Funeral Home Chapel, Stratford, OK. officiated by Rev. Joel Downing and Rev. Jessie Butler.

Burial will be in Corley Cemetery south of Stratford on Hwy. 177
