Lewis Clay Franklin
May 13, 1916 ~ September 16, 2011


Lewis Clay Franklin, of Stratford OK, was born May 13, 1916, in Potts Camp MS to Iona Delores [Stone] and Claude Clay Franklin. He passed away September 16, 2011, at Ada OK at the age of 95. He married Aline (Record) on July 12, 1936 in Sherman TX. He was a Maintenance Mechanic for Rohr Aircraft. He moved to Stratford from Riverside CA in 1976. He was a member of Master's House Church in Stratford.

Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his wife Aline in 2006, daughter Mary Brown, granddaughter Sherry Meyers, grandsons Keith and Allen Hughes, 5 Brothers, and a Sister.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Phyllis Franklin of Stratford, daughter Lynda Hughes of Ada, sisters Margie Johnson of Veneta OR and Betty Birch of Grove OK, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren
