Alpha Lee [Aiken-Elliott] Ledford
October 30, 1916 ~ July 7, 2004


Alpha Lee Aiken Ledford, 87, of Dallas, Pennsylvania, was born in Alfalfa, Oklahoma and was the daughter of the late Walter and Willie [Aiken] Elliott. She passed away July 7, 2004 at Harveys Lake, Pennsylvania.

She attended Walker School wile she lived in the Pauls Valley area. For most of her life she resided in Lodi, California, moving to Pennsylvania in 1994. Mrs. Ledford was a member of the Emanuel Assembly of God Church in Lake Township, PA.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Jackson.

Surviving family include her husband of 71 years, Andrew Jackson Ledford, 2 sons, Lee Roy Ledford, of Oklahoma City, and; and John Henry Ledford, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; 1 daughter, Kathleen Marrie Ruotolo, of Lake Township, Pennsylvania; 4 grandchildren, and, 1 great-grandchild.

Graveside services at Clabber Flats Cemetery will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 13, 2004. Graveside services are under the direction of the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home in Pauls Valley.

John Henry Ledford
January 24, 1937 ~ September 30, 2017


John Henry Ledford, better known by his nickname, Dan, passed away September 30, 2017 in West Plains, Missouri at the age of 80 years.

Dan was born January 24, 1937 in Rosedale, Oklahoma to Andrew Jackson "A. J." and Alpha Lee [Aiken] Ledford.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Christina Ledford, his daughter, Dana and son, Daniel Ledford, his sister, Marie and her husband, Len Ruotolo, and their two children, Joe and Susan,

He was preceded in death by his parents, A. J. and Alpha Ledford; and his brother Lee Roy Ledford.

Dan enlisted in the Air Force and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was proud to serve his country and took every chance to wear his Air Force uniform to celebrate Veterans Day. He and his wife retired from their business in California and in 2004 they moved to make their home in Missouri.

He loved to talk about Jesus, sing Christian hymns and play guitar and piano. Friends have commented that he was a very kind person with such an outgoing and gregarious spirit, that he was a joy to everybody he met.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Clabber Flats Cemetery between Pauls Valley and Stratford, Oklahoma. His final resting place will be near is parents and many other relative at the Clabber Flats Cemetery. Local services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. Services for cremation were conducted in Missouri.
