Casey Bernard Pease
August 16th, 1975 ~ April 1st, 2010

On August 16, 1975 Casey Bernard Pease was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Erwin Pease and Linda [Jones] Pease.

As a child Casey always found ways to entertain himself, as well as everyone around him. For the longest time he would jump off of furniture, and just about everything else, convinced he was superman and could fly.

He graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1994. During his high school years, Casey was active in football, track, and his favorite of all, wrestling.

Casey accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by Rev. Leon Gaffney, pastor of New Olive Missionary Baptist church in Hugo, Oklahoma.

Casey was a very loving, caring and happy person. He was always laughing and clowning around. If he saw someone who seemed to be having a bad day, he would do whatever it took to put a smile on their face. He never met a stranger. He saw good in everyone. When Casey loved, he loved hard and unconditionally. He was often called a momma's boy and he proudly admitted that to be true.

Casey loved sports. Definitely a diehard Sooner fan. He also loved spending time with his children, family, and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His mother, Linda Lawton; daughter, Destiny Pease; son, Jalen Pease; sister, Ralonda Pease, and her fiancee', Kyle Graves, whom all reside in Pauls Valley. Casey also leaves behind Caleb Sutherland, his brother who was adopted into the family several years ago, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly.

Preceding Casey in death were his grandparents, Will and Estella McGee; his father Erwin Pease; and his younger brother Gregory Pease.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Light of the World Pentecostal Church of God in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with Rev. Michael Eaton officiating. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
