Arthur “Earl” Rausch of Maysville was born on July 11, 1941 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Albert E. and Nettie [Robertson] Rausch. He passed from this life on Sunday, November 15, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.

Earl was a longtime resident of Maysville moving here in 1957 from Middleburg, Oklahoma.

He had worked as a gas station attendant, as a machinist and assembly line worker at the Burford Corporation, a seismic graph permit agent for Central Seismograph with Gene Dover during the oil boom, and restoring cars and furniture. In 1966 he started his own auto body mechanic shop in Maysville. Earl enjoyed his cars, but especially the classic and older ones.

He loved his family and spending time with them.

He was affiliated with the First Baptist Church and he will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his sons: Randy Rausch of Austin, Texas; and Jody Summers and his wife Judy of Maysville, Daughter, Vickie Hunter of Hennepin, Sisters: Wanda Crosslin and Alma Delaney and her husband Othel all of Maysville, A very special friend, Carolyn Sue Ramsey of Maysville. He also has 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Nettie Rausch; wives, Maureen Ellithorp Summers Rausch and June Ellithorp Williams Rausch.

The family expects and appreciates masks and social distancing be in place at the graveside services. We value our friends too much to risk losing anyone else.

Graveside funeral services will be held ay 1:00 pm, Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Antioch Cemetery with Bro. Tim Carr officiating.

Burial is under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.
