Chuck grew up in the Wayne/Purcell area, graduating from Wayne High School in 1962.

On October 3, 1963 he married Wanda Sue Rausch and they have made their home in Maysville for 50 years.

He always worked in the Maysville area and retired from Garvin County District I.

Chuck could usually be found each morning visiting friends at the local coffee shop. He was a loving husband, dad and pop whose life centered around home and family. He enjoyed softball and football, especially when his children or grandchildren were playing. He loved to noodle, deer hunt, and hunt hogs. Chuck was saved by Jesus as a young man and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maysville. He said that many prayers and lots of love saw him through several years of cancer, but his body finally got so tired he was called home. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

His survivors include his wife of 50 years, Wanda of the home. Son, Kevin and Char of Pauls Valley. A daughter, Carla and Eddie of Moore. His father, Arvel Crosslin of Maysville.
