A Celebration of Life for Willa Mae Koehn, 83, of Lahoma, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma, Oklahoma with Rev. Martin Herzberg officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Willa Mae was born on the family farm northeast of Lahoma on Jan. 21, 1934, to Christoph and Martha (Nehring) Brakhage. She passed away March 10, 2017. Willa Mae was baptized at the family home and confirmed May 2, 1948. She was a graduate of Lahoma High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to Darrel Koehn July 10, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma, Oklahoma. From 1952 to 1957, she was employed by Central National Bank. She was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Willa Mae was a homemaker, enjoyed the holidays, cooking, playing cards and going on bus trips. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Collins and husband Richard of Lamont; Brenda Schwarzlose and husband Bob of Allen, Texas; son Darren Koehn and wife Cindy of Enid; four grandchildren, Morgan Collins, Brian Schwarzlose and his wife Ashley; Adam Schwarzlose and Westin Collins, two stepgrandchildren, Candace Dally and her husband Chris; Shae Williams and his wife Ashli; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Kendyl and Kannon Dally and Lexington Williams. Also surviving are two brothers, Wilbur and Gerald Brakhage and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald and Virgil Brakhage.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of the funds.
