Henry Mark Holden was born May 28, 1962, in Burlington, Colorado, to Byron and Margaret Holden. He passed May 16, 2022, in Hunter, Oklahoma.

Henry worked for the local farmers in the Hunter and Lamont communities. His longest work relationship was for Jere Don Nelson where he had worked for 20-plus years. He spent most of his spare time hanging with family drinking, laughing and listening to music.

Henry was given the nickname "Hank" by his dad as a youngster. This nickname was revised to "Hankster" by many. Henry was a kind and gentle man that would give the shirt off his back to you whether you were family or friend. He will be missed by so many.

Henry is survived by 8 brothers and 3 sisters: Larry Holden (Helen), Rochester, Washington; Barbara Devries (Robert), Hunter, Oklahoma; Stanley Holden (Kerry), Hunter, Oklahoma; Dwight Holden (Norma), Billings, OK, Thomas Holden (Kim), Hunter, OK; Marilyn Kindig, Hampton, Virginia; Daniel Holden, Hunter, OK., Dorothy Chism, Hunter, Ok; Paul Holden (Dawn), Enid, OK; Timothy Holden, Hunter, OK, Ralph Holden, Hunter, OK. and close friend Melanie Frazier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Byron Holden and Margaret Matlock, step-father Raymond Matlock and two brothers, Riley and Donald Holden; two brothers-in-law Robert Kindig and Raymond Chism.

Visitation for Henry will be 3:00-7:00 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 2022, and 3:00-6:00 P.M., Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK.

Funeral service is at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the United Methodist Church, Hunter, OK, with Rev. Tom Legrard officiating. Interment to follow at White Cemetery, Hunter, OK. Memorials to White Cemetery or Hunter Firemen Association.
