Waukomis Cemetery


The funeral service for Esther Dearman Withrow, age 94, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Rick Milam will officiate. Burial will be in Waukomis Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lad-usau-Evans Funeral Home. She was born June 8, 1915, in Leedey, Okla., to Walter and Georgie Belle (Monen) Moxon and died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, in the Homestead of Denison, Texas, Nursing Home.

She was raised in Leedey, where she attended school. She married Bernice Dearman in 1932 in Arapaho, Okla., and they made their home in Waukomis, Okla. He passed away Oct. 25, 1955. She later married Virgil Withrow in 1956 and he passed away in 1970.She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting many quilts. She worked at Gold Spot and later Enid High School. She was a member of Westside Wesylan Church. She lived in Wichita, Kan., for several years later moving to Sherman, Texas, and Denison, Texas.

She is survived by three sons, Bob Dearman and wife Rose of Canton, Texas, David Dearman and wife Helen of Rose Hill, Kan., and Larry Dearman and wife Gina of Andover, Kan.; one daughter, Carol Cline and her husband Jerry of Sherman, Texas; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren; and a beloved sister-in-law, Leola Moxon of LeFors, Texas. She was preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers and a grandchild.
