Waukomis Cemetery


The funeral for Laddie Urban, 83, who died early Sunday at his home, Route 5, after a sudden illness, will be at 10 AM Wednesday in the Chapel of Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. The Rev. T. Arnold Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery.

Urban was born May 25, 1902, on a farm south of Enid. He was reared and had farmed in the Enid area all his life. He also played in the Garfield County Senior Citizens Band and was a member of the Oklahoma Polka Club as well as the Garfield County Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two sisters, Ella Semrad and Steva Clark, both of Enid; three nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Memorials in his name may be made to the charity of one's choice with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.
