Funeral service for James Scott Underwood, 38, Enid, will be held at Waukomis Cemetery Chapel. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Waukomis Cemetery under the kind guidance of Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

James was born Dec. 27, 1976, in Enid, the son of Chester and Sandra (Green) Underwood, and left this temporary home to go to his permanent home in Heaven.

James was a kind and loving father, son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, nephew and cousin. He never met a child or animal that didn’t love him.

James married Heidi Queen-Staggs on Aug. 30, 1997.

James leaves behind his ex-wife, Heidi; his two beautiful sons, Gage and Austin; his parents; sister, Robin Underwood; brother, Bobby Underwood; niece, Chelsea Krutsch and her boyfriend Jake Hays; niece, Jasmyn Mickelson; great-nephews, Mason Hays and Holden Hays, who always put a smile on his face; and many cousins, aunts and friends.

James is now resting in Heaven.
