Waukomis Cemetery


ENID -- Services for Milton Lee Sissney Sr., 77, Waukomis will be 3 p.m. today at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan O'Daniel officiating. At his request, cremation will follow the service with burial at a later date at Waukomis Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Sissney was born Oct. 14, 1929, in Lone Grove the son of O.A. and Jessie Stoker Sissney. He died Aug. 17, 2006, at a health center. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-daughter.

He grew up around Lone Grove where he attended school. He married Mildred Ann Kincheloe on July 2, 1946, in Sherman, Texas. She preceded him in death May 16, 1988.

Milton worked in the oil fields before moving to Waukomis in 1970. He was employed by Sissney and Son at Waukomis. Milton married Kathleen M. Sissney on Jan. 25, 1989, in Waukomis. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Milton is survived by his wife, Kathleen, of the home; sons, Milton Lee Jr. and wife, Linda, Waukomis, James Andrew and wife, Judy, Waukomis; Raymond Wesley and wife, Teresa, Oklahoma City; step-son, Joe Bradford, Wakita; step daughters, Vonciel Keister, El Paso, Texas and Sandra Hubert, Castroville, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren;

Memorials can be made in Milton's memory to Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church, c/o Brown-Cummings, Funeral Home. P.O. Box 867, Enid, OK 73702.
